Ricky Martin Brings 'Evita' to “Good Morning America”

He’s been a busy boy as of late, and this morning (April 12) Ricky Martin was at ABC Studios in New York City for a media appearance.

The “She Bangs” singer was in the house to promote his new Broadway revival of “Evita” on “Good Morning America” along with costars Elana Roger and Michael Cerveris.

During his interview, Ricky gushed about his experience with the gig thus far- “It’s amazing. It has been beautiful to be able to be sharing the stage with an amazing company, people that have done this for so many years- Michael, Elana, people who are teaching me so much, to be honest.”

Martin also said he has a special connection to the story- “I lived in Argentina many years ago, and to be able to tell the story of a Latin American icon- like I said, it’s a very big responsibility but I feel protected with amazing directors, producers- people who have guided us in such a beautiful way to just tell a fascinating story.”
